The Homegoing of Mr. W. E. Shaw:
While I was in Columbia, SC, for an alumni meeting, I received a call that Jack Shaw’s father, Mr. W.E. Shaw had passed to his eternal reward.
The Lord blessed Brother Erby Shaw with a long and very fruitful life. It is hard to believe that when I came to Holmes, he was in his early to mid fifties. He was a very successful builder and developer and a generous contributor to the Kingdom, especially to Holmes Bible College, Emmanuel and ORU. We are deeply grateful for the life and legacy of Brother Erby Shaw.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 27 at 11 a. m. at the Mackey Mortuary. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Holmes Bible College.
