On behalf of Bishop Gardner and the DMD Team, we would like to ask everyone to take a moment and pray for our National Royal Rangers Commander and friend, David Moore.
He came back from the Accelerant/Centennial/General Ministries Cabinet Meeting trip with the flu which has now developed into pneumonia. He was taken to the hospital on Monday night and is still there today on oxygen and very weak. They think it may be Type A Double Pneumonia or a bacterial pneumonia which is the worst you can get.
Also, the Royal Rangers quadrennial Camporama takes place this summer and David is the main planner/organizer of this event. So, he will need someone to come alongside and help with that event as well. Please pray. Our God is bigger than any illness and we need Him to touch David and give the doctors wisdom as to precisely what steps to take to get him back on his feet.
[Editor's Comment: David Moore is a prince of a man. He is the oldest son of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Ronald Q. Moore (Doris) of Easley, SC. He is a brother to Navy Chaplain Timothy Moore who has just moved from Pearl Harbor with his family to Virginia where he will be serving with the Coast Guard at Portsmouth. Another brother is Phillip Moore who is the administrative pastor of a large church in Conroe, TX.]
