Please keep the family in your prayers.
[Editor's Comment: Barry Wood is the son of the late Reverend Mr. Curtis Wood, of the Appalachian Conference. Barry is an ordained minister of the Gospel with credentials in the Mid-Atlantic Conference.
Bishop Wesley Russ, the superintendent of the Mid-Atlantic Conference wrote the following words of comfort and condolence:
"We, in the MAC (Mid-Atlantic Conference), extend our sincere condolences to the Wood family.
"Some of our newer members in the MAC may not know that the Rev. Mr. Barry Wood -- Barry and Sue Wood successfully pastored the College Park Pentecostal Holiness Church (aka Maranatha Fellowship) with attendance reaching over 150. He is a faithful minister in the MAC.
"We pray God's peace and comfort will be given in abundant measure to the Wood family."
Melvine and I share in the prayers for Barry, Sue and their family in the thralldom of grief and sorrow. We certainly don't know what it is like to lose a son of 19 years of age. No one can know those feelings you now have. However, we would like to know if you wish to reveal the pain of your grief. You are in our thoughts and prayers, and may the God of all comfort bring you abiding peace.]
