Chaplain (Major) Suk Kim has returned home from Traji, Iraq

Chaplaini (Major) Suk Kim, US Army came home with is unit on August 12. Since arriving back in the states, he reports that he has conducted and led 4 retreats along with redeployment trainings. I would say he has been extremely busy.

Chaplain Kim reports that he is readjusting to his wife and family, as well as Fort Leavenworth. He will be taking block leave starting Wednesday, September 8, for three weeks.

He will be at Fort Leavenworth until May of 2011. He has been selected for Family Life Training and will PCS to Fort Bragg for the training.

[Editor's note: I believe Chaplain Suk Kim has been deployed for over a year This was his third deployment. it is really tough on our chaplains and their families. They make great sacrifices and often the families suffer. It is so important that we pray continually for our military chaplains and soldiers (all services). We are very proud of Suk Kim and his family. I have written a letter of recommendation for his son, Ye Chan, to be considered for the Air Force Academy. He is an honor student, as well as a football player.]
