Hugh's News is happy to announce that Chaplain (Captain) Sarah Tarpley has returned from war in Iraq. She arrived at Fort Bliss, TX, by a commercial airliner with 300 soldiers aboard. She landed there Monday, December 12, 2011.
Sarah's mother, older sister, two nieces, and a nephew met her on her arrival.
I am grateful for Sarah's ability to keep in contact with me throughout her deployment.
Sarah wants to thank all of you for your prayers for her and her ministry to her soldiers committed to her, and for the soldiers. Knowing you were praying for her and her soldiers was a great encouragement to her during the months she was in Iraq.
We welcome Sarah back to the United States, to her Army post at Fort Bliss, TX, and her family members who greeted her upon her arrival.
