Pastor Matthew S. Brown is also a Army National Guard Chaplain. He is currently at Fort Bliss, preparing for his deployment with the 120th Engineer Battalion out of Broken Arrow, OK.
Army National Guard Chaplain (Captain) Matthew S. Brown will be deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan in August for 9 months. He will be responsible for providing ministry to 10 companies during this nine month time frame.
Matthew Brown has been married to the former Jennifer Whitt for 13 years. Their anniversary is October 3.
Matt and Jennifer have three precious children: Jorden, Samuel, and Elliana.
Chaplain Matthew Brown is currently the senior pastor at New Life World Outreach in Shawnee, OK.

Ask God for His favor with his commanding officer, and love and compassion for his soldiers. It is my prayer that his soldiers will love Chaplain Brown and look to him as their spiritual leader. His ministry of presence will mean so much to the soldiers for he will become a visible reminder of the unseen Holy God. He will have freedom to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and see many soldiers come to know Him as the Savior and Lord of their lives.
