There is no doubt about it--the Grace Bible Ministries Celebration Conference has the makings of one of the greatest events of the year in Texas.

This conference will be July 13-15, 2011. It will feature two outstanding preachers, father and son, Dr. E. Leroy Baker and Bishop Curtis Baker. Baker and Baker will team up to preach their hearts out, and stir those who attend to a deeper walk with the Lord through Spirit-empowered living.

Bishop Curtis Baker says, "The celebration conference will provide fellowship and worship at its best in a great camp meeting atmosphere!"

The theme, "Mission Possible," reminds us the 2020 vision of GBM (Grace Bible Ministries , formerly known as the Texas Conference) is big. It takes big faith, is focused on building together in a decade of change and challenge.

What will we see? Where will we be? By faith we say, we have a Mission! It is Possible!

Evening preachers will be Dr. E. Leroy Baker and Bishop Curtis Baker.

This is a worship and Word Conference and all Grace Bible Ministries pastors ministers churches, visiting pastors and guests are invited to the 2011 Celebration Conference.

[Editor's Comment: I am well acquainted with the Bakers. I have known Leroy and Evelyn Baker for almost 37 years. Leroy and Curtis Baker are two outstanding preachers, and preach with great anointing and power. What better combination than for a father and a son to team up and preach in this great celebration conference in the atmosphere of a camp meeting. I only wish I could be there to hear them preach and sing.

I am praying for this celebration conference and expecting God to do some great and marvelous things as God's people catch the spirit of Mission Possible!

Let me leave you with a quote from Jack Hayford in a series of Lenten messages that will somehow give you a glimpse of what I believe will happen in Triumph Christian Center in Porter, TX:

"Jesus is Lord over life's question marks--over uncertainties, over seasons of confusion and disorientation, over ignorance about where I'm headed. All these piled up clouds of anxiety are scattered to the winds by the wild, sweet cry of joy that echoes through the centuries. He is alive! He is risen as He said!

"Anyone who can descend into death, conquer hell and the devil, touch bases with earth and earthlings, and then spring heavenward into the glorious rule at the right hand of All Power on high deserves my vote of confidence about handing my future--and whatever it holds.

"They said of Him at Pentecost that it was not possible that death could hold Him. Nor can it restrain us who hold His hand."
