Annie Lanning of Lexington, NC, to celebrate her 100 Birthday, Sunday, February 26, 2010

This Friday, February 26, 2019, a special lady in Lexington, NC, will celebrate her 100th birthday.

She is Annie Lanning. She is the only charter member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Lexington, NC.  She has been a member for 87 years and still attends faithfully 3 times a week unless the weather is extremely bad.

She has taught Sunday school, sung in the choir, special singing and is still involved with the Senior Citizens and Women's Ministries of the church.

Annie's mind is still sharp and she always has a smile and an encouraging word for people.

Pastor Wayne Knight wrote, "Irene and I have had the pleasure of knowing Annie for 25 years and served as her pastor for 19 of those years.  She is a true Christian lady in every sense and supports her church and missions.  She is committed to Hobart and Margarette Howard and they visit her every time they are in the states."

[Editor's Note: I want to thank my good friend, Pastor Wayne Knight for sending me this news announcement about a great lady by the name of Annie Lanning. I call her a Chronologically Gifted Christian Lady. May God bless this dear saint who continues to bless the congregation and community. What a blessing it is to have lived 100 years. I hope to make it to 103 myself.]
