Spring 2012 Semester Kick-Off
The New Year holds great hope and promise, and with the spring 2012 semester kick-off on the 11th of January, this is especially so for all the students, faculty and staff. Returning students emanate excitement and anticipation for the growth and work of God in their lives as they continue their studies.
It is with great pride that we announce that this semester there is an addition of thirteen new students, marking one of the largest enrollments for a spring semester and the largest number of students living on campus in a number of years. These students are thrilled to begin a new chapter in pursuing the call of God on their lives.
Special Prayer Chapel
The Chapel service on January 18 was devoted entirely to prayer and praise. From the beginning of the service the glory of God filled the chapel as corporate praise went up to Him. The Spirit of God moved powerfully as students, faculty and staff prayed earnestly for the needs of the Holmes family around the world.
Specific needs that were prayed for were a revival on campus and that students lives would be blessed and they would be called of God to missions, pastoral ministry, youth ministry and other areas of Christian ministry; for our chaplains and missionaries; that God would help us cross the finish line with the Million Dollar Miracle (we are half way there); for funds for operations and for an increase in the number of gifts and students.
Time was also spent praising God for His blessings on the college and on our lives; for the significant increase in new students in the spring semester and for the increase in finances in the month of December.
Holmes Bible College is a place of prayer and we want our Holmes family and friends to call us with any needs and we will pray for those needs.
