A tribute to Jerry B. Walker by Sid Chapman, a United Methodist pastor
I first became acquainted with Jerry B in the late 70s when my aunt, who had been out of fellowship with God for some time, rededicated her life in one of his services at the Assemblies of God Tabernacle in Atlanta. He later came to Athens and Franklin Springs where I came to know him and Ron Christopher better.
He nick named me "chubby" and "the little preacher," go figure! He was funny. One of my fondest memories was that he invited me on "Evangeline" for a guided tour--I felt so privileged.
