A Re-run of the list of our IPHC Chaplains in the world

I have learned over the years that when I goof and make errors (you know I am human) I will keep after a project until I get it right. I had hoped to get it right the first time. But, I unintentionally left off Chaplain (Captain) James Paul Ward, Jr. who is stationed at Fort Hood, TX.

In addition, I inadvertently omitted 2nd Lieutenant Jason Vaughn a Army National Guard Chaplain Candidate who is studying at Liberty University. He successfully completed and graduated from the Chaplain Officer Basic Leadership Course at Fort Jackson this year. We really miss his wife, Anna, who worked in the Evangelism USA office and upgraded our Chaplains Ministries, IPHC website. She is the best we have ever had. However, they have moved to North Carolina.

So, here's hoping that I have done it right this time. I want to apologize to Chaplain Ward and Lieutenant Vaughn for my error.

Chaplain (MAJ) Terry Kesling is being transferred from Weisbauden, Germany to Fort Detrick, MD, near Camp David. He is being promoted to be a Brigade chaplain, a step up from being a Battalion chaplain.

LCDR Marc McDowell, CHC, USN is to be deployed in January 2011, to Guantanamo, Cuba, for one year. That should be an exciting assignment and will look good on his resume.

LCDR Timothy R. Moore, CHC, USN is being transferred from Pearl Harbor with the Submarine Command to Norfolk, VA, to work with the Coast Guard on the east coast. That should be an fantastic assignment for him. He will be coming up for promotion to the rank of Commander on this next assignment.

Chaplain, Captain (Major Select) Jamie Braswell, USAF has been given orders to attend the Army's Family Life Counseling School at Fort Hood, TX. It will be a year or more of intensive education and training. He will be able to earn a Master's degree in Family Counseling from a nearby university.  He is scheduled to move sometime in May 2011.

Chaplain, Captain (Major Select) Randy Sellers, USAF is scheduled to return to the States next month. He is to be promoted to the rank of Major on Tuesday, February 2, 2011. He will be returning to Vance AFB, where he is the Senior Protestant Chaplain

I am working presently with a young pastor with considerable pastoral experience who desires to be a Navy chaplain. I will be writing a letter of approval for him to be commissioned an Ensign in the Navy Chaplain Candidate Program. He is a highly intelligent person and is enrolled in seminary to meet the educational requirements.
