A picture is worth more than a thousand words.
The photo above was the one that was printed in the Spring edition of The Quad magazine from Emmanuel College.
I saw Dr. Mike Stewart, president of Emmanuel College, as we got out of our automobiles on the day of the Georgia Promotional Conference, and I told him how much I liked this photo, and he said, "We'll get it to you." I want to thank Paula Dixon, communications director, for this beautiful photo.
The fountain is in the Shaw-Leslie Library Reading Plaza that was dedicated October 7, 2011, and of course, you will recognize the tower with stairs leading up to the bridge over US Highway 29. This is the bridge the students, faculty, and staff use when going to various functions at the John W. Swails Convention Center.
