Asia/Pacific Summit of national leaders will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this week

The 2010 Asia/Pacific Summit of national leaders will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from November 9-12. This unprecedented gathering will bring together the national leaders of IPHC works in sixteen nations in the region. Presiding Bishop Ronald W. Carpenter and World Missions Executive Director Doug Beacham will be present for this strategic and historic time of interaction, planning and prayer.

The goals of the Summit are threefold:

1) To bring together national leaders from across the Asia/Pacific region, in order to encourage, learn from, and pray for one another, and to explore ways we can cooperate and assist one another in fulfilling our ministries;

2) To hear from our leadership, so as to receive the global vision God has imparted to them for the IPHC, and consider how to implement that vision in our region of the world;

3) To seek the Lord collectively for His anointing and direction, so that we may strive together with unity of purpose to serve His Kingdom and glorify His Name.

The theme of the summit is taken from Philippians 1:27: “Standing firm in one spirit, striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.”

Please pray for all the plans and logistics, and pray that the Lord will visit us to impart unity, direction and anointing.
